ITEC Hotel School has been established on April 2019 as a Hospitality training center in Mount Lavinia

 Our business model is based on training young students and enabling them to develop their competencies and educate and qualified them to cater hospitality industry.

Since it is a newly opened hotel school we are currently operating only in Mount Lavinia and it is sole proprietorship business registered at Certificate of Registration of an Individual Business under W/209161 certificate number on 10th May 2019 in western province Sri Lanka.

ITEC Hotel School further registered with Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission (TVEC) under Ministry of skills Development, Employment and Labour Relation of Sri Lanka, and our registered number with them is P01/0860. We have accredited our Baker program at TVEC which awards NVQ Level 3 & 4 certification. And Professional Cookery is on the process of NVQ Level 4 accreditation with TVEC.

At present we are conducting Baker and Professional Cookery NVQ certificate programs. We train our students under Former executive Pastry chef at Galadari five star international hotel, Chef Nimal Fernando (ACHSGA) who has 40 years of experience in hotel industry and 20 years of experience in teaching. And he has conducted RASASARANIYA live TV show in Swarnawahini TV channel more than 18 years.

Our Students will learn all the basics of both theory and practical and each and every student prepare each item individually under the guidance of our Chef.
